Our faith is centered on Jesus Christ and the truth of God’s Word.

“There is one body and one Spirit, just as you too were called to the one hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.”

— Ephesians 4:4–6

What We Believe

Our faith is centered on Jesus Christ and the truth of God’s Word. The following statements summarize the core beliefs that guide our teaching, our life together as a church, and our desire to faithfully follow Christ.

Scripture

We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God and the authority for Christian faith and life.

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended into heaven, where He is seated at the right hand of the Father.

Humanity and Sin

We believe all people are created in the image of God but are separated from Him by sin and are in need of salvation through Jesus Christ.

The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers, called to worship God, grow in faith, and share the gospel.

Communion

We believe in the regular practice of communion as a remembrance of Jesus’ sacrifice and a celebration of our unity in Him.

God

We believe in one God, the Creator of all things, who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit dwells within believers, guiding, teaching, refining, and empowering them to live godly lives and to carry out the Great Commission.

Salvation

We believe that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ provide the only basis for forgiveness, justification, and salvation. All who believe in Him are born again, filled with the Holy Spirit, and receive the promise of eternal life.

Baptism

We believe that baptism is an important step of obedience for believers. While it is not required for salvation, it was modeled by Jesus and practiced by His followers, and we encourage all believers to prayerfully consider it.

The Return of Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ will return again.
