Early Childhood
Our nursery and preschool provide a safe and caring environment where young children are introduced to God’s love through simple Bible stories, play, and interaction with trusted volunteers.
-
Our Early Childhood ministry serves children from birth through kindergarten. Children are placed in age-appropriate classrooms where they are cared for by loving, trained volunteers.
We believe these early years are an important time to begin planting seeds of faith in a child’s life.
-
Early Childhood classrooms are available during the 9:30 AM Sunday service. Nursery and preschool rooms are open throughout the service, so parents can worship with confidence knowing their children are safe, cared for, and loved.

BOLD Youth
A place where students build real friendships, grow in their faith, and learn to follow Jesus with boldness.
Students are known, encouraged, and challenged to grow in their relationship with Christ.

BOLD Youth is for students in 6th through 12th grade. We are a place where students build real friendships, grow in their faith, and are equipped to live boldly for Christ.
The name BOLD reflects the heart of our youth ministry:
B — Believe in God
O — Obey His Word
L — Love Like Jesus
D — Disciple Others -
BOLD Youth meets weekly on Wednesday nights from 6:30–8:00 PM in the lower level of Crossing Community Church in Genesee Depot.
Each night includes time to connect, engaging Bible teaching, and small group discussion where students can ask questions, build friendships, and grow in their faith together. Whether it’s their first time or they’ve been coming for years, they are welcomed in and invited to grow.
-
Students have a space of their own in the lower level where they can connect, hang out, and build friendships. With games like pool, ping pong, and darts, along with a comfortable area for Bible teaching and discussion, it’s a place where students feel at home and are encouraged to grow in their faith and follow Jesus.
-
Students are taught through a year-round curriculum that connects biblical truth to the real-life challenges they face. Each lesson helps them understand Scripture, ask questions, and apply what they learn in everyday life.
Throughout the year, we also include special lessons tied to holidays and seasonal themes.
-
As part of our midweek Family Night, Wednesday evenings begin with a Family Dinner at 6:00 PM, followed by group lessons at 6:30 PM, and end with a Family Dessert at 7:45 PM as we gather back together.
Even when students attend without family members, they are welcomed and valued—we believe the church is a family where everyone belongs.
-
BOLD Youth occasionally pauses for special church events or holidays that fall on a Wednesday evening. Any schedule changes are communicated in advance.

Care & Outreach
Caring for one another within the church and sharing Christ’s love beyond it.
Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministry offers Christ-centered care and support to those walking through difficult seasons of life.
-
Stephen Ministry is a Christ-centered care ministry rooted in the biblical call to care for one another.
“Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
— Galatians 6:2Trained members of the congregation provide compassionate, one-to-one care for those walking through difficult seasons of life.
-
Stephen Ministers are trained volunteers who provide confidential, Christ-centered care. They are often called “after people” because they come alongside individuals following a crisis or life challenge.
They listen, encourage, pray, and walk with people through difficult seasons for as long as care is needed.
-
A Stephen Minister meets one-on-one with a care receiver, usually once a week for about an hour. Through this ongoing relationship, they offer consistent support, encouragement, and prayer during difficult seasons.
Care receivers may be members of the congregation or individuals in the community who are experiencing grief, illness, loss, or other life challenges.
-
Through Stephen Ministry, care is extended in meaningful and practical ways as people walk alongside one another during difficult seasons.
“Love one another as I have loved you.”
— John 15:12Through this ministry:
• Those who are hurting receive emotional and spiritual support.
• Caregivers use their gifts to serve and encourage others.
• The church lives out Christ’s call to love and care for one another. -
Stephen Ministry is led by trained Stephen Leaders who provide guidance and oversight within the church.
Stephen Ministers receive training and ongoing support so they can offer thoughtful, compassionate care rooted in Christ.
Missions
As we care for one another within the church, we also seek to share Christ’s love beyond our walls—both locally and globally.
-
We support campus ministry through Chi Alpha, which serves college students and helps them grow in their faith during an important season of life.
One of the missionaries we partner with is Nina Touchstone, who serves with Chi Alpha. Through discipleship, Bible study, and personal relationships, students are encouraged to grow in their relationship with Christ and live out their faith.
-
We also support missionaries serving in areas of the world where sharing the gospel openly is difficult. Because of the sensitive nature of their work, we do not publicly share specific details.
We invite you to pray for these missionaries and the people they serve as they faithfully share the love of Christ in challenging places.
-
There are several ways you can support our missions partners, including prayer, giving, and encouragement.
We are actively involved in missions, partnering with individuals and ministries who are sharing the love of Christ.
We support campus ministry through Chi Alpha, including missionary Nina Touchstone. Gifts toward her ministry can be made through AG Giving using the account number below.
